    Discontinuation of Keurig-Compatible Pods

    We are writing to inform our wholesale partners of an important product decision.

    Effective immediately, we are discontinuing all Keurig-compatible pod offerings.

    Pods have always been a higher-effort product with more points of failure than bagged coffee. Recently, we identified a lid adhesive failure in a batch of pods supplied by a packaging manufacturer. This resulted in opened or damaged pods during transit and compromised freshness for end customers. While this issue originated at the packaging level, the reputational impact ultimately affects both you and us.

    This is the second significant manufacturing issue we have encountered with pods over the past few years, involving different suppliers. Given the stakes, particularly when pods are often a customer’s first introduction to a coffee brand, we believe continuing to offer them is not consistent with the level of reliability and service we aim to provide our partners.

    Our decision is based on a simple standard: products we sell should be ones we can stand behind without hesitation. Whole bean and ground coffee continue to meet that standard and remain our full focus.

    We appreciate your understanding and are happy to discuss alternative offerings that provide better consistency, fewer customer complaints, and a stronger representation of your brand.
